CBO Report: U.S. War With Iran Costs $38 Billion in Six Months
According to the CBO Report, the first six months of America's war on Iran have cost the country $38 billion, with an addition of $3 billion each month, putting significant pressure on the weapons inventory of America as well as its finances, with its national debt crossing $40 trillion. Owing to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran, high prices of diesel and petrol have put additional burden of $763 on households in terms of energy bills. In political terms, popularity of the war is at 31%, putting pressure on Republicans before mid-term elections in November.
